PROJECT 2a: "GENIUS LOCI"- SITE ANALYSIS & CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT

INTRODUCTION

To identify the genius LOCI on site. The location is in Selangor, Sungai Buloh. A Leprosy settlement called the Valley Of Hope.

FINAL OUTCOME

We were asked to do a collage based on out interpretation on the site along with hand drawn sketches. After that we were to choose our given site along with producing a site plan and its site analysis

PROJECT 2: "GENIUS LOCI"- INTERPRETATIVE CENTRE

INTRODUCTION

To create an interpretative centre based on the genius Loci of the Valley Of Hope. We were to design a 2 storey building with 450sqm requirements. Along with specific types of rooms in the building

FINAL OUTCOME

My final building was made of auto-claved aerated concrete along with corten steel. A double story building which allows users to walk-through the past on how the barriers were formed. Acting as a remembrance on how the site used to be while the public had forgotten about the barriers which caused their misery and pain
