PROJECT 2C: Perspectives

INTRODUCTION

This is the process of being able to translate a 2-dimensional image into a 3-dimensional drawing of 1 point and 2 point perspectives. Being able to draw perspectives is necessary in architecture as these drawings makes it easier to visualize the drawings.

TASKS

For this assignment, we were to draw 2 perspectives of Farnsworth House. A one-point perspective to show the sectional interior cut and a two-point perspective to draw the exterior of the building. We are to draw them by projecting it from our plan view from Assignment 2a. Before doing so, we had to enlarge our plan view to prevent the perspective drawing to becoming too small. Both of these drawings are to be drawn on a single piece of A2 cartridge paper followed by colouring it. we were given the choice to use any colouring medium.

FINAL OUTCOME

- ONE-POINT PERSPECTIVE -

- TWO-POINT PERSPECTIVE -
