PROJECT 1: Models and Tattoos: Expression through Design Elements
and Principles
Taylors Graduate Capabilities
For this assignment, we were asked to design 6 models following with it's tattoo stamps based on the 5 elements- Materials, Line, Shape, Mass and Space. Along with the 16 Principles- Balance, Connection, Contrast, Emphasis, Form, Groping, Imagery, Meaning, Symbolism, Pattern, Placement, Proportion, Rhythm, Scale, Unity and Variety. These models were to have a dimension of 100mm x 100mm x 100mm. At the end of this assignment we had a verbal presentation to relate our ideas and concepts towards our assigned lecturer.

TASKS
Design Elements and Principles are all around us. It is a necessary process needed in design where every art student should know of. This process is the start of every design we have today.

FINAL OUTCOME
PROJECT 2B: Axonometric Projection
INTRODUCTION
This is the process of being able to translate a 2-dimensional image into a 3-dimensional drawing angles at 45 degree. Which is a type of drawing important in the architecture field.
TASKS
For this assignment, we were asked to draw an exploded sectional axonometric projection of the Farnsworth House. Where the interior of the building can be seen, with the roof being exploded upwards. This is a continuation from Project 2A. We were to use the plan view in the 1st assignment to draw this axono. The axono of Farnsworth House was to be drawn in an A1 sized cartridge paper. besides that, we are supposed to colour the drawing with any colouring medium and include trees as well as human figures.
FINAL OUTCOME
REFLECTION & TGC's
After completing project 2b, I believe that my thinking and problem solving skills has improved as drawing the axonometric drawing had made me think carefully and to fully understand the process. Besides that, my intrapersonal skills to develop such a huge drawing despite the amount of time given has improved. Overall, I believe that my skills in drawing axonometric projections has improved.
