FINAL OUTCOME
PROJECT 1: (Integration with Architecture History and Theory)
On-Site Sketching, Tonal Values and Presentation
INTRODUCTION
To fully understand the concept of drawing on site as well as learning the different types of rendering to show materials, shadow, lighting and etc. To be able to start and enter the free-hand drawing process for the present and future which is necessary in architecture.
TASKS
We are asked to go on site of our 5 chosen buildings and to free-handedly drawn them. Where we were to draw the exterior of the buildings and apply the 4 rendering techniques to the buildings. Those rendering techniques were stippling, one-directional hatching, two-directional hatching and lastly scribbling. We were to draw these buildings in an A4 sketchbook. What we had to look out for when drawing these buildings are the scale and proportion, details, textures and etc.
FINAL OUTCOME
REFLECTION & TGC's
From this assignment, my thinking and problem solving skills has improved greatly as I had to figure out how I was going to show the material, shadows and light through the different rendering techniques. Besides that, I believe my communicating skills has improved when conversing with the locals on site.
